Trees

In honor of a beautiful and profound movie I saw last night, "Perfect Days," I am posting some of my favorite extra tree photos from this year, ones that I have not used on this blog yet (as far as I can recall).  As I was scrolling back through all the photos and remembering ones that had appeared in previous posts, I was surprised at how often I photograph trees and how often I love the resulting images.  I especially love the shadows they cast and how light filters through their leaves and branches.
